Dr. Daniel Mitchell received his
medical degree in 1969 from the University of Illinois in Chicago,
IL. He continued with an internship in Surgery at Cook County
Hospital in Chicago. He served as a Radiology Resident at Boston
City Hospital in Boston as well as the University of California from
1970 to 1975.
Before joining Peoria Radiology Associates in 1976, Dr. Mitchell was
a radiologist at U.S. Air Force Hospital Castle Air Force Base in
Merced, CA.
Dr. Mitchell is a member of numerous professional societies
including the American College of Radiology, American Medical
Association, Illinois State Medical Society, Peoria County Medical
Society, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, Society of
Uroradiology, Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound, and the
Radiological Society of North America.
Dr. Mitchell serves on several committees at OSF St. Francis as well
as the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He is Chairman of
the Radiology Credentials Committee at OSF and the Radiology
Resident Selection Committee at UICOMP.
He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology at the University
of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.
