Dr. Gentry received his medical degree from the Medical
College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio in May 1984. He completed
his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Michigan State
University in Grand Rapids, Michigan from 1984 – 1989. He
also completed a fellowship in MRI, Ultrasound, CT at
Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan from
1989-1990.
Board certified by the America Board of Radiology, Dr.
Gentry is a member of numerous professional organizations
including the American College of Radiology, American
Medical Association, Electron Microscopy Society of America
and the Peoria Medical Society.
Dr. Gentry served in the area at Proctor Hospital since
1990, acting as chairman for 12 years. Dr. Gentry joined
Central Illinois Radiological Associates August 2006 with
special interest in MSK, especially MRI of the foot and
ankle and temporomandibular joint. Dr. Gentry has given
multiple talks on these subjects at both local and state
meetings.
