Joseph K. Gerwin, M.D., received a
Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering
from Northwestern University in 1983. Dr. Gerwin earned
his medical degree from the University of Illinois at
Chicago in 1993. He completed his residency in
Diagnostic Radiology at University Hospital in
Cincinnati, Ohio in 1997.
Dr. Gerwin was a consultant with
Digital Educational Publishing developing MRI lecture
series and instructional CD-ROM's for Stephen J.
Pomeranz, M.D., before joining Peoria Radiology
Associates in March 1998. Dr. Gerwin is currently
serving as chairman of Radiology at St. James Hospital
in Pontiac, Illinois.
He is certified by the American Board
of Radiology and National Board of Medical Examiners and
is a member of the Radiologic Society of North America
and the American Medical Association.
