A Peoria native, Dr. Guingrich received her Bachelor
of Science degree at Purdue University, West Lafayette,
IN. and acquired her doctorate of medicine at the
University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.
She served a Surgical Internship at the University of
Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. While completing her
residency in Diagnostic Radiology there, she was awarded
the Resident Research of the Year Award.
Her commitment to education is demonstrated by her
presentations and publications. She had presented an
article at the American Roentgen Ray society meeting
which was later published in AJR, “Colonic Wall
Thickening in Cirrhosis: CT Findings and clinical
Implications”. She participated in resident teaching
conferences at the University of Wisconsin.
Dr. Guingrich is a member of several medical
societies including the American College of Radiology,
American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of
North America, and the American Medical Society. She
joined Central Illinois Radiological Associates in
August of 1999.
