Dr. Hungate came to Peoria Radiology
Associates from Scottish Rite Children’s Medical Center in
Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Hungate’s extensive education includes an undergraduate
education at the University of California in San Francisco,
CA where she received a degree with highest honors. She
attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University
School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH with clinical clerkship
honors in medicine and pediatrics; she also completed two
years of a surgical internship and residency there in 1985.
She accepted a position as a research associate at Case
Western Reserve University in 1987 and did postgraduate work
as a resident instructor.
She completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the
Cleveland Clinic followed by a Pediatric Radiology
Fellowship in 1996 at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Board certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1995,
Dr. Hungate also received a certificate of added
qualification in pediatric radiology. She currently holds
licensures in Georgia, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
