Dr. Martin received his medical degree
from Tulane University of Louisiana School of Medicine in
1973. He served an internship at Naval Hospital in Oakland,
CA from 1973 to 1974 and practiced Aviation Medicine at
Kingsville, TX. He became a Naval Aviator stationed in
Virginia Beach from 1977 to 1982 and served his residency at
Naval Hospital in San Diego.
Dr. Martin has an extensive military background serving from
1969 to 1997 in a variety of positions from a pilot with a
Fighter Squadron to Head of the Neuroradiology Division at
Naval Medical Center. He is still on active duty with the
Naval Reserve.
Board certified by the American College of Radiology in1985,
he is a member of several professional societies such as
Illinois Radiological Society, Illinois Medical Society, and
the Peoria Medical Society.
