Dr. Mendell received his medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois in May 2002. He completed his residency at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in June 2007. Dr. Mendell served as chief resident during the 2006-2007 year.

Dr. Mendell is certified for Coronary CTA, CT Colonography and Stereotactic Breast Biopsy. He became certified for Kyphoplasty in August 2004 and is a member of the Wisconsin State Roentgen Ray Society. Dr. Mendell was formerly the lead investigator for Kyphoplasty study measuring height restoration using Kyphoplasty with and without cutting curette. He currently holds state licensure in Wisconsin and Illinois.

Dr. Mendell joined Central Illinois Radiological Associates October 1, 2007.
